It takes a full day a night to get there and back, and Granny does love to natter. Visiting a relative: The Tooth Fairy’s Grandmother lives right the other side of The Impossible Mountains in Fairyland. ![]() I think we can allow her a little down time. She works so hard all year round collection so many lost baby teeth. ![]() (I think there is a little lesson in this last one for some little ones!)Ī Night Off: Everyone deserves a night off, especially the Tooth Fairy. In Autumn, a dreadful cold brought on by not wearing a coat despite the obvious drop in temperature. During Summer, heat stroke or sun burn after being in the Fairy Garden with the Gnomes. In Spring, hay fever from spending the day with the Flower Fairies. Illness:In winter, frostbite on the wings because it can get so cold at night. So I am going to share with you my top 4 reasons why the Tooth Fairy didn’t come, just in case you ever find yourself in a similar tight spot. You know me by now, dear heart, I hate to see anyone suffer. 4 reasons why the Tooth Fairy didn’t come That Tooth Fairy has forgotten to visit before. Although, you know it’s not the first time that I have had to roll out the excuses. I am sure she will come tonight instead.” But the Tooth Fairy would never have got here with all that going on. You’d think they would have done something about it by now. With all the glow worms at the festival, and the traffic lights all dim, the roads in Fairyland were clogged with angry travellers. Now everybody knows that glow worms power the Fairy traffic lights. Did you not hear the news? Yesterday was the international festival of glow worms. “Well no, of course the Tooth Fairy didn’t come. I quietly mustered all my courage under that accusing little gaze, and I said with great certainty, Thankfully, being a firm friend of the Fairies, I had been privileged to hear a large quantity over my many years at The Fairy Nice Trading Company. Well dear heart, it is at times like these that an arsenal of Fairy excuses comes in mighty handy. What an epic parenting fail! What was I to do now? I had to think quick on my feet But that feeling vanished like Fairies at sunrise when I woke to hear the phrase all mother’s dread… ![]() I must admit to feeling a little smug that I still had time for a cheeky glass of wine before I headed up the wooden hill to bedfordshire. I had tidied up, packed the lunches and cleaned the school shoes. The little ones were bathed and put to bed. Everyone had been fed a hearty home cooked meal.
